The download of game data will follow in individual packets – you'll be able to start your adventure after the first 6 GB! Then, whilst you are playing, the download will continue in the background. The file size of the entire game is 30 GB (installation requires 60 GB of free space). If you have uninstalled or need to re-install only the NCSOFT Game Launcher, you can do so by downloading the installer from this link here and save it to your Desktop. Right-click on the nc-launchersetup.exe and select Run as Administrator. Follow the prompts to install the program. Used almost most of the day today trying to download with the client and i keep getting the E02018. wondering if the game is even worth my time now. Anyone know a fix to this? all my drivers are up to date. 1. Open Aion Launcher (like you done normally). 2. Do File check. - If file check keeps crashing the launcher when you start it; Press File Check button again after restarting launcher, before you click on "Confirm" pull the small window away from Launcher, so it is not ontop of it and then click Confirm. Press and hold the Windows® key and R keys at the same time.This should open the Run dialog box. Type MSCONFIG and click OK.This should open the System Configuration Utility window. Click on the Services tab and check the Hide All Microsoft Services checkbox near the bottom. Do not continue unless the box is checked. Click Disable All. so basicly i started aion back in 2008 in beta then all way throw 1.5 and 1.9 while game was at his peak as the best mmorpg of 2009 however hype for 2.0 was good but soon after realese of 2.0 population started to drop 2.5 patch came along population droped even more and by 2.7 ncsoft had no choice but to hit emergency button and pull the free to play card out. I'm getting a lot of errors e02018 during installation, I've found a few forum posts, but they weren't helpful so far. When installing, I get errors about the launcher not being able to download certain files, saying it could be a network issue, or antivirus/firewall issue, even though my network works just fine, and I have disabled antivirus
Feb 25, 2016 Finally fixed Blade and Soul NCSoft Game Launcher Error E02018 Update error, "Cannot download file" "Please Restart the launcher" I had Jan 22, 2016 Here's a Video on how to fix the Error EO2018 that worked for me. Error E02018 how to fix this error in blade and soul. KEEP updating it is working but the error stop you from going forward and you only update like 1% at a @Galeas it seems that even though the launcher will not update , the update infact was updated. I entered the game just as a test using the old bat file you guys provided, and the new npc is there. Perhaps its not an update problem but a problem of the launcher trying to validate that the update is there. I'm missing many files. If any of you could tell me which port I need for the download, I could enable it on my router. maybe thats the problem. or the router firewall. there is no option to switch it off.. or some port forwarding program or something. You can play with .bat - the only "issue" is that you can't see the npc selling Grey Wolf accessories. However they were in the client already so you game won't crash if somebody has them or links them, you just won't see the npc
